A grain roasting machine works by using controlled heat and mechanical motion to evenly cook, dry, or toast raw grains like wheat, chickpeas, or corn. Fresh grains are loaded into a heated chamber—typically a revolving drum or a moving mesh belt— where hot air, gas burners, or electrical elements raise the temperature. As the grains continually tumble or slide through the machine, the continuous movement prevents burning and ensures every grain absorbs heat uniformly. Once roasted to the desired crispness, color, and flavour profile, the grains are automatically discharged into a cooling tray or tray bed to stop the cooking process and lock in their dry, crunchy texture.
