A multipurpose dal mill plant follows a systematic process where pulses such as toor, chana, moong, urad, and masoor are received, cleaned, graded, and destoned before conditioning through controlled oil or water treatment. The conditioned pulses undergo dehusking and splitting, followed by sieving, aspiration, grading, and separation to remove husk and broken grains, with partially processed grains recycled for higher recovery. The finished dal is then graded, polished if required, quality-checked, weighed, packed, and stored for dispatch, with integrated conveyors, elevators, dust collection, husk handling, electrical controls, and safety systems ensuring efficient and hygienic plant operation.
